6 Destinations in India that will mesmerize you!

“The real voyage of discovery is not in seeking new landscapes, but in having new eyes!”

With the “new normal” scenario, which has crept up in all our lives, everyone would consider places with fewer people around and less touristy spots. More nature, more fresh air, more hygiene, fewer crowds, less jamming spaces, etc, etc.

So here is a concise list of the cool & safe hotspots you can consider for your next break!

Ladakh

Driving across winding high altitude scenic roads, visiting beautiful monasteries, and camping at striking campsites at elevated lakes is the major attraction of Ladakh. It adds to the charm that the roads are isolated and there is absolutely no pollution! You breathe fresh air and explore some seriously stunning sites!

This place is sure to leave you craving for more and you will plan your next visit sooner than you know!

Munnar

Munnar is one of the most sought after destinations in Kerala and almost a must-do whilst there! Green carpeted views of tea and spice estates will leave you spellbound! I would say the best time to visit is Monsoons, as it’s magical in the rain. The waterfalls look splendid with waters flowing down! The Mattupetty dam is not to be missed for its views and you can enjoy a shikara ride at the Kundala Dam.

Certainly, a place to visit for much-needed R &R!

Pondicherry

Gazing into composed waters and doing nothing is undoubtedly one of the best therapies ever! Sit back, revel in the sweetness of doing nothing, cycle around town, enjoy al fresco French dining, go back to the 1900s, in short savor in the slow-paced life! If this is what tempts you Pondicherry is your next stop!!

Wayanad

50 shades of green is what you can expect in this quaint little town of fog n falls! Expect the unexpected rains and foggy weather to entice you into dreamy moods! Not much to do here in terms of sightseeing, just to enjoy the feeling of Dolce Far Niente!

If all you want to do is laze, dream, read, eat, listen to music, enjoy long walks, enjoy the rains, waterfalls… look no further and explore this little piece of Heaven called Wayanad.

Valley of Flowers

If a slice of paradise is what you envisage then look no further than The Valley of Flowers. It is a UNESCO world heritage site. The best time to visit it is certainly in monsoons, it looks like a carpet of myriad colors of nature. Breathtaking would be an understatement! You can only reach here after trekking, there are no proper roads to get here. But believe you me, it’s all worth it!

Ziro Arunachal Pradesh

One of the least popular and certainly not a touristy destination! (Thank God for small mercies) there are still some places which are tucked away from the hoards! Ziro will leave you captivated and breathless! Rice fields till as far as your vision goes, green grass in assorted colours, dancing white clouds in the background….Ziro music festival is the best time to visit. Explore this rare gem the local way!

So where are you headed this season?
